U.S. Death Metal veterans with their 2025' album.
Jef Jaeger and Leon Schendel started the band in Appleton, Wisconsin as Rape in late 1987 with Paul Jaeger playing bass. Bryan Jaeger replaced Paul in 1988 and the band changed their name to Apocalypse. The band relocated to Milwaukee in 1989 and added Brian DeNeffe as vocalist. They changed their name to Viogression and recorded the "Perception Blur" demo in December 1989. Their second demo, "Execution", was recorded in March 1990. Eric Johnston was added as a second guitar player shortly after, and in May of 1990 Barry Jaeger replaced Jef Jaeger on drums, who went on to join Morta Skuld.
Thaumaturgic Veil:
An infinite metaphysical construct, weaving intricate threads of human consciousness, vibrational frequency, and esoteric intent into a tapestry transcending the boundaries of death metal. The album explores the interplay of awareness, magic, and the latent potential encoded within humanity’s neurocognitive framework.
