ISTHAR (ec) - Bendita Inconsciencia - CD DIGIPAK
Founded in 1996 in the shadows of Doom Death Metal, Isthar has made music its eternal refuge. With Lo Fatal (2004) and La Higuera (2017), the band left its mark beyond borders. In 2018, they gathered their memories in a demo, and in 2025 they gave life to Bendita Inconsciencia, an album that reflects the maturity of their sonic journey.
"Bendita Inconsciencia" is the new chapter of Isthar, an invocation to the emptiness and beauty that dwells in the shadows. With five songs that move between the density of doom and the rawness of death metal, the album opens portals to an intimate and arrogant universe, where death is not final, but a silent retreat. Isthar has transformed darkness into music, and in 2025, she reveals a work marked by strength, introspection, and transcendence.

Bendita Inconsciencia was recorded at DeadSign Recs. (drum session by Andrés Aguirre and Michael Silva, 2022) and at MS Estudios (strings, keyboards, vocals, theremin, percussion and ambient sessions by Michael Silva and Isthar); pre-production, production and mixing were carried out at MS Estudios by Michael Silva (February 2024), and its materialization at HAN Music Estudio by Andrés Cárdenas (May 2025). The lyrics belong to Christian Jiménez and Isthar, except for “Bendita Inconsciencia” written with David Erazo; the design, concept and illustrations were done by DOC LaborARTory – Cristian Jiménez, and the photography by Marco Garzón.
