GRAVKVÄDE (swe) - Prolog - CD DIGIPAK
Swedish black funeralists Gravkväde return with their latest opus, 'Prolog'.
Gravkväde was founded in 2016 by R|K and B|N and quickly became known for their ultra-bleak sound, catching the attention of Avantgarde Music. This collaboration led to the release of their debut album, Grav|aska. Over the past few years, Gravkväde has continued to build their reputation, releasing several highly acclaimed albums on various labels.
'Prolog' represents a significant milestone for Gravkväde, as it is their first release as a five-member formation. This expansion marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band, bringing even more depth and complexity to their music. Combining elements from Depressive Black Metal and Funeral Doom, 'Prolog' delivers four new tracks of profound despair and misery.
For those not yet familiar with the works of Gravkväde, this release comes highly recommended for fans of bands like Nortt, Xasthur, Esoteric, and Funeral Mourning
