Egoist is a 4 headed Black/Death Metal band based in Weilheim that got to its final form in 2018. They use musical influences from Death to Black, from Punk to Metal to create an aggressive but clear, heavy and atmospheric, straightforward but melancholic, dark, dirty but punchy melodic headbanger sound.
For four years they’ve been embracing their own believes on the decay of modern civilization and mankind’s deceptions, finding themselves as observers in the front row beside you, always an eye on the abyss that holds the future of all our fates.
About the album:
As the prophets and seers have told long ago, “we’ll bury our freedom and lose what we love”. Tradition and heritage is not about worshipping of ashes, it’s the legacy of fire. But we inherit the ashes, no flame will remain.
