DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY (cz) - Zlodejska Svetelka - CD
The longest song in the history of the Czech doom/death iconic DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY released for the first time on a separate CD. The band ceased activity in 2013 after the tragic death of frontman Fusaty.
DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY was a Czech doom/death band, active between 1993 and 2013. In January 2013, the band played their long-announced last concert as part of the celebration of the 12th anniversary of the Pařát magazine where they said goodbye to their fans. On that day, the album "Time Ruins Also Beauty" from 1997, according to many the best Czech doom metal record ever, was also released under the wings of Pařát Productions for the first time on LP. The possibility of a later comeback ended on September 23, 2013, when DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY frontman and founder René "Fusaty" Krystyn died of cardiac arrest. At only 39 years old. Parat was a big fan of the band, after his passing they decided to continue the legacy of DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY. Over the years, everything the band has ever recorded has been and will be reissued.
One DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY song, the very longest at almost a quarter of an hour, seemed to be quite an afterthought. That would be because the band recorded it in 2010 only for the CD compilation "Unveiling The Signs", on which DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY appeared together with PANTHEIST, GALLILEOUS, etc.
