HNISAVY PROCES (sk) - Zahnivanie Spolocnosti - CD
Original old school grindcore from Slovakia.
"When I first encountered the first recordings of NAPALM DEATH, CARCASS and TERRORRIZER I thought myself that I will never listen to anything else. I was born with thrash in my head and all grind albums seemed too chaotic, uncarved and noisy. It seemed like an avalanche of stones, bones and blood. Without any added value.
But the time went on and I started to like all the chaos. In 1992 I had no idea that there was a band called HNISAVÝ PROCES. Only after years my friend, who liked to hurt his ears with grind and death metal, brought me an unbelievably dirty cassette. On one side there was a sign “Scum” by NAPALM DEATH and the other side of the cassette was hit by maniacs HNISAVÝ PROCES. The album was not fully recorded, some parts were missing and his girlfriend recorded TUBLATANKA over it. I can see it right in front of me just as if it were yesterday.
Thank God that there are labels like SLOVAK METAL ARMY which takes care of a difficult task – republishing “Zahnivanie spoločnosti”. Nowadays, the CD sounds slightly funny at some moments, the sound is adjusted but the atmosphere (connected with memories) just works on me. Today´s young listener might be slightly shocked and he or she does not have to like many songs. However, at some point in the past when the style was becoming famous this music was a hit. Of course, it is more like a collectors’ piece but I would still recommend this album. It has witnesses, dullness, dirt, blood and vomit. So if you want to listen to the real and genuine grind with ancient death metal, then do not hesitate. After all, the company is still decaying, right?" - DEADLY STORM FANZINE
