CHRIST AGONY - Darkside - LP (ltd.250 copies)
"Darkside" originally released in 1997 released for the first time in vinyl format.
Mastering for vinyl by Satanic Audio (Haldor Grunberg). Layout: XXVSign (Paweł Ozon).
Cezar recalls:
"Darkside" started writing right after "Moonlight - Act III". From the beginning I assumed that it would be something stylistically different, something that would lead the band to other musical regions for a moment... I fought with full determination for 'Darkside' to appear under the name of Christ Agony. Three albums were not the only determinants of this band.
'Darkside' - this album took several months to write. I was composing alone, practically in silence, surrounded only by old poetry. I have never succumbed to any external pressure about what it should look like, what it should sound like and what the band Christ Agony should play. I always made music in this band that I wanted to create at the moment. And that was a very specific period in my life. Many people advised me against making this material.
Docent's participation in 'Darkside' recordings was quite significant. All the percussion tracks were arranged entirely by him. We had a common denominator with the Docent - we listened to similar performers and music not only on the border of metal... I am very happy that I could record this album with him."
